Chapter January started off as a duo project (2007) with a mission to reinvent pop music. After a couple of shows and a whole lot of beers later, CJ grew to a full on band even more determined to get their name out!

With the new formation CJ now exists out of:

Mick: Guitar/Vocals.
Marc: Guitar/Vocals.
Erwin: Bass.
Guido: Drums/Samples.

Making use of samples such as synth-lines and beats to enrich their music, people tend to be pleasantly surprised about all the different influences incorporated to their music.

Now with a couple of big shows behind them such as, main stage Artquake Open Air, Groezrock and supports for bands such as Destine, MakeBelieve and Only Seven Left, they released their first EP on the 1st of January 2010. At this point they are very busy writing and recording songs for the new EP of which they won’t say to much about yet.

Still on their original quest Chapter January is out there, waiting for the perfect moment to strike!
